Junior Golf Class for beginner to intermediate junior golfers age 10-12. Players will learn the fundamentals of golf, including Driving, Irons, Chipping, and Putting with a heavy emphasis on FUN. PLEASE NOTE: Because we maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio for safety and quality instruction, clinic spots are very limited. We truly don’t want to turn anyone away, but walk-up spots will be extremely unlikely. If your desired date is full, please look at the next available date on the website or call the shop at 405-842-2626. Q: Is every class the same? A: Every class will be unique. Some will focus more on putting, chipping, and short game, some will focus more on Drivers, Irons, and long game. We encourage players to sign up for multiple classes. Q: When should I arrive? A: Classes will begin promptly at 4pm. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to pay and complete registration. Q: Can Parents stay and watch? A: Absolutely, though not required. All we ask is that you leave the coaching to us! Q: What if we don't have golf clubs? A: We’re happy to provide clubs for new golfers during the class and are always glad to answer questions about purchasing your child’s first set. Ball Golf carries all major golf manufacturers and is an award-winning club fitter for both junior golfers and adults. When the time comes to purchase clubs, we hope you’ll consider trusting the experts at Ball Golf rather than big-box chain retailers such as PGA Superstore, Golf Galaxy, or Dick’s. Q: What should we wear? A: Athletic shoes (golf shoes not required, but please no sandals, boots, slippers, etc.) and golf / athletic clothes. We do not have a strict dress code; collared shirts are not required. T shirts are fine. Q: What if it rains or bad weather? A: Safety is our top priority and in the event of lightning class will be cancelled Parents will be notified of cancellation via email. Golf is an outdoor sport and we believe in training our players to be tough in adverse conditions. Classes are unlikely to be cancelled due to wind or cold, only lightning.
