Our approach to teaching golf is to get you hitting the golf ball, stay relaxed, and definitely have some fun! We want you to enjoy golf and our job is to give you the confidence to play the game we love. So, if you are thinking about either learning how to play golf or need to improve on your game, we highly recommend taking a private lesson. Of course, as you improve we can step up the pace and make the lessons more challenging! 

Dan D'Angelo is the Head Golf Professional at Carson Valley Golf Course. He was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe, California, and has been involved in the golf industry for over 20 years. Dan has a passion for growing the game and has been a coach and mentor for the First Tee Program, PGA Junior League, and has taught private lessons and group learning programs at various courses. His instruction focuses on understanding the golf swing and how to play and manage a golf course to lower your scores. He is also a great communicator, and his positive and encouraging instruction style has been a key ingredient to his student's success. He previously owned his own business that specialized in golf equipment fitting and repair and is one of the few people to offer these services in the area. Dan is an active member of the PGA of America, a certified US Kids Golf Coach, and regularly attends educational seminars to stay up-to-date on the latest teaching and coaching techniques.
