Pricing: The cost per golfer is $199, which includes club rentals, range balls, and four 70-minute lessons with one of our professional instructors. Prerequisite: Get Golf Ready 101 - Fundamentals & Get Golf Ready 201 - Prepare to Play Who: Get Golf Ready 301 is a group class designed for the adult “beginner” golfer who has a basic understanding of the swing fundamentals, rules of golf, and wants to improve their performance. What: This class will teach, review, and practice all of the principles needed for your first round of golf. Students will spend 90 minutes each week with one of our knowledgeable PlayDCGolf Instructors. Students will also receive drills to practice on their own time in order to build on the basics learned during class. Between instruction during class and practice outside of class, golfers will continue to improve their knowledge and skills. When: For 4 consecutive weeks, unless otherwise noted, the class will occur at the same time and day of the week, with the same group of 2-4 people. If a class does not meet the minimum number of registrants (3), the student will be notified about their class getting pushed out a week. Classes will not begin until there are at least 3 students registered. If a class is not filling up and keeps getting pushed, students may need to contact the Academy to get into another class. Where: Students will meet at the PlayDCGolf academy area on the far right side of the driving range. Class schedule: Each week the instructor will focus on sharing information that will better prepare you for playing. Through the four weeks, students will learn in order: 1) Fundamentals and warm-up review (Driving Range) 2) Warm-up and scramble play (Red Course) 3) Warm-up, individual play, and course management (Red Course) 4) Warm-up, play stroke play, and course management (White Course) Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be issued if canceling 72 hours or more before the first class. If canceling between 24 and 48 hours before the first class, a 50% refund will be issued. NO REFUND will be issued if canceled within 24 hours of first class or no show unless there is an emergency that has been communicated with Academy staff.
