A Golf Body Assessment with Ground Reaction Force (GRF) data combines traditional physical screening with advanced force-plate analytics to give a complete picture of how a golfer’s body influences their swing.
This premier package includes Jon Eisman, Wonsuk Rhee, Conor Lynch, combining the knowledge of fitness, movement patterns, force data to the golf swing.
1. Physical & Movement Screening: Conor Lynch
This part looks at the golfer’s body, what the golfer can or cannot physically do.
Analysis of the body for the most efficient movement dynamics.
2. Ground Reaction Force Data Collection
Using dual force plates (GASP Lab), Jon Eisman & Wonsuk Rhee measure:
• Vertical Force
• Lead/Trail, Lateral Force
• Toe/Heel Force
• Timing & Sequencing: When forces peak relative to swing phases (backswing, transition, downswing, impact)
- Total Torques: Horizontal Plane Torque & Frontal Plane Torque
This shows how the golfer uses the ground during the swing for efficiency.
3. Practical Outcomes
A Golf Body Assessment with GRF data leads to:
• Personalized swing changes (optimize force direction, torques, and sequencing).
• Fitness/strength programs (address mobility or power deficits that show up in the data).
