The players will have practice and playing days. Below are some of the curriculum for on-course and practice days:
On-course will focus on topics around course management skills:
- Driver, pros and cons, of distance vs accuracy off the tee.
- Iron, importance of dispersion of approach shots.
- Wedges, scoring shots and managing spin control.
- Putting, green reading and speed control.
- Tracking stats/shot metrics
- Pre-round preparation & Post-round assessing. Learn how to better identify strengths and weaknesses.
Practice Days:
-Driving range days will cover topics such as, set-up and stance, both driver & iron mechanics, and video analysis for each player.
-Short game days focus on techniques for both low and high trajectory, pitch and chips. Bunker practice, to make par saves from the sand, as well other various games and competitions.
-Putting green practice focuses good fundamentals, like speed control & club face awareness. Learning how to better read the slope, to better aim and line up their putts.
The players will meet twice a week during this 6 week program. There will be 7 practice days and 5 playing days. Playing days will be all on Thursday evenings.
