At the end of 2022, Lansdowne Resort & Spa purchased
software and technology called “Gears Sports”. We are the 29th
facility in North America to have access to this technology that was developed
in 2016. With this technology now at our fingertips, we will be able to help
you reach your golf goals and potential!
What is Gears?
Gears is a full body optical motion tracking system designed
to measure and analyze every aspect of sport-specific skills, in full 3D. It is
the first and only system to accurately track the body and the golf club
simultaneously. Gears delivers the best, most accurate training analytics
available. With high frame rate body and equipment metrics are directly
measured and incredibly precise. This technology helps us as coaches accurately
diagnose you, the golfer, like you were at a doctors office getting an MRI.
