League Overview Location: Just Birdies – The Railyard (Norfolk, VA) Format: 9-hole casual league play each week Season Length: 6 social league rounds + Week 7 Fun Championship Round Teams: 12 teams (2 players per team) Flights: Two social flights based on standings after Week 6 Who Can Play: All skill levels welcome — this league is built for fun, community, and good golf energy. League Format & Schedule —Weekly Play (Thursdays- if cannot play on a Thursday you can make it up Sun-Thurs the same week) —Each team completes one 9-hole round per week on our simulators. —Flexible play windows if you cannot play Thursday. —Rounds must be played within the designated league week window. —Social League Feel —Chill atmosphere, music, drinks, and good vibes encouraged. —No need to be a scratch golfer — the scramble format keeps it light and fun. —Lighthearted, high-energy finish to the season with prizes, bragging rights, and good times. Season Structure Weeks 1–6: Social Season Rounds Weekly 9-hole rounds with rotating pairings or flexible match scheduling. Standings tracked weekly, but the focus stays on fun, consistency, and showing up with your squad. Week 7: Social Championship Round Flight A Social Championship Flight B Social Championship Scoring & Standings Format: Scramble (best ball each shot — super social, super fun). Weekly scoring based on low team score. Weekly contests like closest-to-the-pin to keep things fresh. Live standings posted in Just Birdies and emailed weekly. After Week 6, standings determine Championship Round seeding.
