This fitness class is designed specifically for competitive junior golfers ages 14 to 18, focusing on developing the strength, power, and movement quality needed to elevate on-course performance and prevent injuries. The class supports their ability to generate more clubhead speed, gain distance off the tee, and refine the physical foundations of an efficient, repeatable swing. Each athlete also periodically undergoes Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 1 movement screens and power tests, which help to monitor individual strengths, limitations, and progress over time.
The class consists of one in-person group training session per week (Fridays at 6:30-7:30 pm at Edge Golf Performance), supported by at-home activities delivered via the Trainerize mobile app with instructional videos. A 1:4 coach-to-student ratio ensures each athlete receives focused, individualized coaching while maximizing safety and the effective use of space and equipment.
Starting in September 2026, the class will be following a monthly membership model. Registration is a two-month minimum commitment with automatic reenrollment. After the initial two months, members have the option to pause for one month or to exit the class with a 30-day notice. Monthly billing will vary depending on the number of in-person training sessions held each month, with a $40/training session cost (please refer to the attached graphic for more details).
Each session includes mobility, power, and strength training to:
- Develop strength throughout the body using age-appropriate resistance training
- Increase rate of force production and explosive speed using power and speed exercises
- Improve balance, posture, and core control to help prevent overuse injuries
- Create and maintain golf-specific mobility and stability in a personalized approach based on TPI screen results
