Week 1: Introduction to Golf & Equipment Objective: Familiarize participants with golf basics and equipment. Topics: -Introduction to golf history, objectives, and etiquette. -Overview of golf clubs and their specific uses. -Safety and basic rules on the course. -Fundamentals: grip, stance, and posture. -Light putting practice to conclude. Week 2: Putting Techniques Objective: Develop solid putting skills for the green. Topics: -Proper grip, stance, and alignment for putting. -Reading greens and understanding speed control. -Distance control drills. -Fun putting challenges and games. Week 3: Chipping & Pitching Objective: Enhance short game techniques for better scoring. Topics: -Differences between chipping and pitching. -Proper setup and swing technique for short shots. -Distance control and target-focused drills. -Practice chipping and pitching with challenges. Week 4: Full Swing Fundamentals (Irons) Objective: Build confidence in full swings using irons. Topics: -Proper grip, stance, and alignment for full swings. -Understanding swing path, tempo, and follow-through. -Drills for consistent ball contact and accuracy. -Iron practice focusing on distance and direction. Week 5: Driving & Long Game Objective: Improve power and accuracy with the driver. Topics: -Setup and technique for powerful, accurate drives. -Introduction to the driver and long irons. -Drills for generating power and controlling direction. -Fun long drive contests and practice. Week 6: Course Management & Strategy Objective: Develop strategic thinking on the course. Topics: -Basics of course management and shot selection. -Strategies for different hole types (par 3, par 4, par 5). -Simulated course play with real-life scenarios. -Group discussions on strategic decision-making. Week 7: Bunker Play & Recovery Shots Objective: Master challenging bunker and recovery shots. Topics: -Technique for getting out of bunkers with confidence. -Strategies for various trouble shots (rough, uneven lies). -Drills for handling challenging lies with ease. -Bunker and recovery shot practice with fun challenges. Week 8: Review Objective: Apply skills in a relaxed Competitive Setting Topics: -Quick review of key skills from previous weeks. -Wrap-up with feedback, discussions, and celebration. Additional Information: -$20 Per Session paid at the Golf Course on the day of the clinic. Equipment can be provided.
