The Junior Playing Class runs from April 11th to October 31st on Thursday evenings. All levels of juniors ages 9+ are welcome to attend and grouped by skill level. Younger juniors and those who have not enrolled in other classes or lessons with us may be evaluated by dropping into a Junior Academy group class or scheduling a 30 minute private lesson. Players should be able to walk and carry (or use a push cart) and feel comfortable being unsupervised at times on the course while instructors go back and forth helping each group. Class Types: - Skill - situational on-course experiences simulating various shots - Playing - test, evaluate, and apply what has been learned Class Topics Include: - Course management and strategy - Situational coaching - Rules, etiquette and playing formats Bring to Class: - Golf clubs, balls and tees - Ball marker and repair tool - Water bottle - Sunscreen and bug spray (if needed) - Dress for the weather with comfortable shoes - RSVP - *Juniors will need to register through USchedule for each class using their pre-paid service units. *Enrollment cutoff is 2 days prior to the event.
