2nd Annual Magic City Cup

For juniors, predominantly ages 12 and up. Get out of the cold and play world famous courses in the Magic City Cup as you represent your club in matches against other clubs. 

Last year Pine Tree CC were the winners pipping Hoover CC on the last day.

It is a team competition with the top juniors from each club participating.

Format

3 man teams

Matchplay

Playing front 9 in alternate shot

Back 9 singles play

A point for the each 9 holes.

The two teams with the best record will play a final on the last Sunday.

Matches played late Sunday afternoons and evenings at Magic City Indoor Golf throughout December 2025 and January 2026 (start Dec. 7 and end Jan. 25.)

Cost $600 per team

Additional information:

* Juniors 12-18 in age

* Must be members of the same club

* Driving distance will determine the length of course played:

180-220, 6000 yards

220-260, 6400 yards

260-300, 6800 yards+

* If a team member cannot be there for a match the other 2 can play as a twosome or draft in another junior member from the club for that day.

* If 2 are missing the person can play as a single or draft 1 or 2 others in from their club.

* Clubs can have multiple teams. No limit. We have room for up to 16 teams max.

* Matches roughly last 1.5 - 2 hours.

* Matches will be played on Sundays from 4-6 pm or 6-8 pm
