Webhannet Golf Club nestles in the quaint Kennebunk Beach neighborhood of historic homes and seaside cottages. Set one block in from the sparkling Atlantic, the ocean air refreshes and defines this classic Maine course.  Standing on the elevated sixth tee, you can literally feel the afternoon tide change and hear children's gleeful shouts as they plunge into the brisk Maine water.

PGA Professional Eric Higgins is in his 5th season at Webhannet Golf Club and 4th season as Head Golf Professional.  Eric is a native of Kennebunk, graduating from Kennebunk High School.  He then went on to attend the University of Northern Colorado and played on their Division 1 golf team under the late Wally Goodwin and graduated with a degree in business management.  During college Eric was able to win the coveted trophy all amateurs want to win, his home state of Maine State Amateur Championship in 2007 at Waterville Country Club.  He then went on to Florida where he lived for 10 years, got married to his wife Erin Higgins was able to complete his PGA Class A certification in 2021.  Eric and Erin have one boy named Connor who is 6 years old.  

Eric's Teach Philosophy:

Creating a pre shot routine will allow a player to fundamentally setup to a golf shot more consistently.   This allows a teacher to diagnose a clubface issue or clubhead to path relationship issue with more accuracy and then to create a player development program to help achieve the students goals.
