Kenny Jacobs, has 30+ years of experience teaching golfers of all ages and skill levels. He graduated from the Golf Academy of the South in Orlando Fl in 1989. He is originally from Decatur, Il. Kenny was the Director Of Instruction at Towne Lake Hills Golf Club and Eagle Watch Golf Club in suburban Atlanta Georgia for 10 years. He returned to Illinois in 2004 as Director of Instruction at All Seasons GLC. Has also been the Head Golf Professional at Lincoln Elks Country Club and Director Of Instruction at The Den.
His students have included 4 time winner on the PGA Tour, Chris Kirk. Chris also won the Ben Hogan Award for college player of the year at the University of Georgia and was a member of the US Walker Cup Team. Other students include winners on 4 different professional mini tours, a number of Division I, II, III College Scholarship golfers as well as members from several different High School State Championship Teams in both Georgia and Illinois.
His teaching style is based on 4 key ideas…impact, swing plane, Clubface control and balance; and 5 key T-Words…tension, tempo, timing, tilt and turn. His simple to understand teaching style gets immediate results.
