Dates and Times: • League Start Date: Monday, October 7th & Thursday, October 10th, at 7 PM • Note: Post-league play is available at $30/hour. • Start Time: 7:00 PM sharp. • Reminder: You may show up 30 minutes prior to Tee Time to warm up, anything earlier is subject to bay fee. After league play, players can continue golfing at $30/hour (Up to 6 Players) • Season Duration: 10 Weeks Handicap Establishment: • Before the league starts, players must establish an X-Golf handicap through a qualifying round. (Covered with Registration fee) • If players do not establish a handicap before the league, they will play with a scratch handicap until established through league play. • Important: Staff must be available to confirm handicap play during these rounds. Season Structure: • The first seven weeks will be used to compete for playoff bracket spots. • In Week 8 the top 6 Teams will compete in the Playoff Bracket and the bottom 4 teams will be moved to a consolation Bracket. • One final week will crown the 3v3 League Champion! • Bye Week: November 28th (Thanksgiving Week) Rules/Scoring/Penalties: • Match Play Format: • Tee Locations: All players will play from white tees except for ladies and seniors, who will play from red tees. • Match Play: 9 holes. A-B-C players will compete against the corresponding players on other teams based on similar handicaps. • Scoring: Each match is worth one point. The overall net team scores contribute an additional point, with ties earning 0.5 points each. Substitutes: • Subs must play an 18-hole round at Princeville and Bethpage before weekly match play at their own expense, or they will play with a scratch handicap. Handicap Application: • Handicaps are based on performance during the first two weeks of the league. • Note: A maximum handicap difference of 4 strokes between players. Scoring Integrity: • Warning: Attempting to shoot higher scores to gain a higher handicap will not be beneficial. • Scores are monitored through the X-League app, and inflated scores will be dropped to reflect your true handicap. • Shooting higher will place you in different brackets (A-B-C) which could hurt your team’s overall score. Attendance and Forfeits: • If a team cannot attend a league night, they will forfeit that night’s points. • Teams that give 48-hour notice can reschedule but will play with forfeit handicaps if the make-up is scheduled after the league night. • Note: Teams must pay for simulator time during make-ups. Cost/Getting Set Up: • How to Sign Up: • Monday & Thursday leagues consist of 3-person teams with up to 2 subs per team. • Total Availability: 24 team spots. (12 Monday & 12 Tuesday) • Teams must be fully established before the league start date. • Sign-up Fee: $100 covers the first two qualifying rounds. • League Fee: The remaining $400 + tax is due by October 2nd. • Sign-Up Sheet: • Teams must complete the “League Sign-up” sheet with Madi or X-Golf Staff, including the player's name, phone number, and email. • Subs must be included in the sign-up paperwork. • Weekly Fee: $20 per player, payable on the league night. Prizes/Championship: • Prizes: • Week 9 Playoffs: Winners advance to the championship and earn a $100 voucher for each player. • Week 10 Championship: Winners earn a $150 voucher per player and automatic entry into the Champions of Champions Tournament at the end of the league season. • Playoff Structure: • Week 8: The top six teams compete in the playoffs with 1&2 seeds earning an advance directly into semi-finals week 9. The two losing teams will fall to the consolation bracket for week 9. • Week 9: Four teams compete in the semi-finals; two teams advance to the finals. • Week 10: The final two teams compete for the championship. • Consolation Bracket: An elimination tournament for the bottom 4 teams will start week 8, the two winners will then face off in week 9 against the 2 eliminated teams from the tournament bracket. Winners from week 9 will play the consolation championship in week 10 and earn a free team entry into Winter league.
