Brent Shaver is a professional golfer and instructor based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is currently an Associate Member of the Utah Section of the PGA.
Brent's passion for golf began at a young age as a caddie at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, GA. Brent transitioned to golf operations at the Charlie Yates Golf Course at East Lake and began his career as a coach to junior golfers at the East Lake Junior Golf Academy which would later become First Tee East Lake. He quickly fell in love with coaching the game and dedicated himself to mastering his craft.
Brent served for seven years on the board of directors for First Tee St. Petersburg Florida, he is a Level III national certified First Tee Coach. For the 2020-2023 Brent served as the Director of Junior Golf and First Tee Site Co-ordinator at Golf the Round in South Salt Lake City. Currently, Brent is the Director of Instruction at Eaglewood Golf Course, Junior Golf Lead Instructor at The Country Club of Salt Lake City, well as a Lead Coach for the Utah Sections PGA H.O.P.E program.
Brent is an accomplished golf instructor. He has worked with golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players, and has helped them improve their swings and overall performance on the course. Brent's teaching style is focused on personalized instruction, tailored to each individual golfer's strengths and weaknesses. He understands that every golfer has a unique swing and learning style, and he works closely with his students to develop a customized approach to their golf game.
Brent's dedication to the sport of golf extends beyond his professional work. He is actively involved in the local golf community and has volunteered his time to support various golf-related charities and veterans’ organizations.
When he's not teaching or playing golf, Brent enjoys spending time with his partner Alicia and their two dogs Birdie and Bogey. They love skiing, hiking rafting and exploring the outdoors. Brent Shaver is a skilled and passionate golfer and instructor who is committed to helping others improve their golf game and achieve their goals on the course.
