Spring Programs - HIGH SCHOOL In the professional game, Spring Training is a vital step in transitioning a player from individual-based development to in-season competition. It is intended to review fundamentals, refine mechanics, give quality reps, lay a strong foundation and speed things up in preparation for live games. As our Winter programs come to an end, many of you are looking to continue the awesome momentum you've worked hard to establish this winter. Whether you are making the transition onto the field and into games right away - or you have time before your season begins - Brower Baseball is here to support you this Spring. All of our High School training options are a-la-carte (sold separately) for maximum flexibility. Players can consistently attend sessions for continued development or use these a-la-carte sessions to check-in, as needed. Check-ins are a great way to keep your routine, mechanics and mind on-point in-season! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Spring CRUSH: High School Pitching: A-LA-CARTE (each session sold individually!) Spring CRUSH is intended for our High School players looking for pitching development or in-season support. Customize your schedule and step on the mound each week to solidify your mechanics, refine pitches or address any issues that pop up in games. Each player will be given customized guidance since their attendance and pitching needs will vary depending where they are at in their throwing for the week. For example - if a player needs a "recovery day" then warm ups, throwing drills and mound work will be tailored towards a recovery day. In comparison, the process for a player who needs a "get-after-it day" will look very different. Players need consistency in their preparation and routine. They need to be able to take more responsibility in managing their arm care, effort and workload in-season - an important skill to master as they progress in their baseball journey. These flexible sessions will help players accomplish that. DETAILS: - Age: High School - Instructor: Coach Brower and/or Coach Eric - Small group - max of 6 per session - 1 hour - $70 each - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - THE IMPORTANT STUFF... REGISTRATION: Please refer to the cancellation policy before registering - and still use our waitlist if a specific session is full and you would like to hear about slots that open up that day. There are lots of slots available, especially since slots are sold individually. We have also set aside more sessions to add, if needed. CANCELLATION POLICY for any a-la-carte sessions: The below policy applies to all of our a-la-carte, individually-purchased, Spring sessions ONLY. All other programs or services, please refer to their assigned cancellation policies. Our families love that we keep our training sessions small and personalized… Which also means there are limited slots available. If a session is sold out then a last minute cancellation results in a loss for the instructor and more importantly, for the player who wanted the slot but was unable to register for it. Since the bulk of our Spring programs are sold a-la-carte, you have the ability to only register for the sessions you know work into your schedule and therefore, there will be no refunds. However, we do understand that sick, life and changes happen. If you absolutely need to cancel - and it is within the deadlines set below - then we will add a 30-min (value $45) or 1-hour (value $65) cage rental to your account, depending on the value of the program you are cancelling. Those cage credits will be available to use between May 15 - August 31, 2024. The FINE PRINT for above cancellation policy: - Cancelling prior to 1-week before your session: If you give us enough notice (further than 1 week before your scheduled session) then we will add the appropriate cage rental to your account. - Find a friend to take your slot! As long as that player is the correct age and has a profile/waiver on file with us then you are welcome to give or sell your slot to another player/friend. We just need to know to expect that change please. - There are NO cancellations or credits within 1 week of your session. - NOTE: Please always reach out to us if your cancellation is health-related. WHAT TO WEAR/BRING: Wear comfortable athletic clothing. Sneaker or turf shoes - no cleats please. Players must bring their own personal equipment. Closed water bottles only on turf and no gum please. PRIVATE LESSONS: All coaches - Jim Brower, Damek Tomscha, Cole DeVries, Eric Fischer - will be expanding their lesson schedules in March. However, Spring is still a busy time for small group training and there will be limited lesson hours available. We encourage families, especially if your player is between the ages of 10-14, to register for our small group training.
