CATCH - Winter 2024-25 Catching Development Program Age Groups: 12-14 CATCH is designed to focus on the three key physical areas of catching: blocking, receiving, and throwing. Depending on the age group and experience level, there will be an emphasis on game management and the mental skills required to excel in this critical position. Weekly chats and/or videos cover a variety of topics to raise a catcher’s IQ. Join us to elevate your game and become a more confident, capable player behind the plate! This program is conducted in a group of 6 or less to be able to better customize the training according to individual needs. Players must provide their own personal equipment... Cups are mandatory as part of the equipment that must be worn in every session please. DETAILS: - DATE RANGE: January 6-March 12 - Location: Champions Hall or Jet55 in Plymouth/Minnetonka (see "locations" below) - 60 minutes, 1x/week, 10 weeks - Age Group: 12-14 (actual age, not playing level - see age guidelines below) - Cost: $595 - Initial payment of $295 plus 1 payment of $300 billed 1 month from the purchase date. - Instructors: Coach JJ and Coach Blake are BACK! Lucky us. :) IMPORTANT DETAILS... 1. LOCATIONS: - Champions Hall (denoted as CHAMP) - 7000 Washington Ave South, Eden Prairie, MN 55341... Sits on the border of Eden Prairie and Edina, right in the middle of where Hwy 494-169-62 intersect. - JET-55 (denoted as JET55) - 12755 Hwy 55, Plymouth, MN 55441... Sits on the border of Plymouth & Minnetonka/Wayzata, right in the middle of where Hwy 494-6-55 intersect. 2. TRAINING AGE: Our training is based on a player's "actual age" and NOT their "playing age or level." For example... A player that is 11 years old and plays 12u should register for age 9-11 programs and NOT age 12-14 programs. 3. AGE LIMIT: Players can register for a session prior to turning the required age, but they must turn that age at some point during the program. 4. AGE BRACKETS: Please pay attention to the way we combine ages when registering. Age brackets can vary from one program to another, depending on what the curriculum entails. 5. PAYMENTS: All programs are automatically put on a payment plan. Initial payment will be due at the time of registration and remaining payments will run automatically every 30 days until satisfied. 6. LESSONS IN THE WINTER: Please don't plan to depend on lessons for your source of training with us during the Winter. Our main instructors run all of our development programs so finding hours to also offer 1:1 time is very rare. 7. CANCELLATION POLICY: Please familiarize yourself with our cancellation policy prior to registering for any of our Winter programs... - Participants who cancel any Winter Development Program registration prior to November 1, 2024 may contact us for a full refund or training credit - less a $75 non-refundable administrative fee per program. No cancellations/refunds after November 1, 2024 unless accompanied by a physician's note showing medical necessity, and in that case the refund would be a future training credit, less $75 or 10% of total paid - whichever is greater. - There are no make-ups or refunds for missed sessions throughout the 12-week program. However, this Winter we are working on a night where we can offer players who miss a session the opportunity to use training space for some independent training. We will communicate details as we dial them in.
