SKIPPERS OUTDOOR SUMMER SERIES with Brower Baseball at Bennett Family Park! For Minnetonka Baseball Association players & families only. Ages 8U-13U. This one is special to us. Jim Brower, owner of Brower Baseball, grew up playing on these same Minnetonka fields. From tee ball... to the 1985 Little League World Series as a member of the East Tonka Little League All-Star team... to Excelsior Legion Post 259.  Now, Jim and our incredible Brower Baseball coaches are returning to where it all began to share their experience and help develop the next generation of Tonka players. DETAILS: - For Minnetonka Baseball Association families - Ages 8U - 13U - Location: Bennett Family Park in Minnetonka - Wednesdays 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm - Dates: June 17, July 1, July 8, July 15 (available a-la-carte or as a pack) - Brower Baseball's senior coaching staff will lead these sessions each week. Each three-hour session will be a mini-camp that includes skill development, games, competitions, and team fundamentals. Players can attend individual dates or commit to the full series. Players will work on hitting, pitching, fielding, baserunning, and game situations. Since we will be outside, we can also expand training to aspects of the game that are harder to fully practice indoors, including cutoffs and relays, rundowns, pop-up communication, defensive positioning, outfield routes, situational baseball, and team defense. The goal is to keep it fun, fast-moving, and development-focused while giving players a chance to learn the game in a more complete way. The Brower Baseball team is excited to get onto the field with Tonka players this summer. Hope to see you at Bennett! TWO PRICING OPTIONS:  Players can register for each date individually or sign up for the full 4-week series and save.  #1 - Single Day Option / Purchase a-la-carte / $75 per 3-hour mini-camp #2 - Skipper Series 4-Pack / $245 for all 4 weeks (save $55)  NEED TO MISS? We know summer schedules can change with tournaments, vacations, and family plans. There are no cancellations but we built in two flexible options to help you feel confident in registering, even if you end up needing to miss a scheduled session. - Option #1: SWAP WITH A FRIEND Families may have another player, sibling or friend take their spot if they need to miss a session. The substitute player must:      - Be within the same age bracket (8U-13U)      - Have a profile/waiver on file with us      - Let us know in advance of this change and who we should expect instead. - Option #2: COMPLIMENTARY CAGE RENTAL We will provide a complimentary cage rental (with machine) to help offset the missed training time/cost.      - This gives players a chance to still get training reps in even if they miss a scheduled session.      - NOTE: Cage rental must be used by the end of the summer program - August 4th. WEATHER BACK-UP PLAN! If rain is in the forecast, we have a backup plan! Training that day will move indoors to our Jet 55 facility in South Plymouth / North Minnetonka.
