Age 15+ High School GOLD GLOVE: We will devote more of the facility during the month of November to fielding & hitting training. We will offer several GOLD GLOVE sessions... a Fall favorite! DETAILS: Train with Coach Damek Tomscha - former infielder with the Phillies, White Sox and Twins as well as Division I player at Auburn. Gold Glove is designed to increase an infielder’s athleticism and range in the field. Each session will focus on agility training, infield footwork/glovework and conclude with a HitTrax game to keep your swing and competitive mindset on-point, while under Coach Damek’s oversight/guidance. - Date: Select options available now, through October 19th. More will be added to extend through the end of November. - Age Group Options: 9-11, 12-14, 15+ - Each session sold a-la-carte so you can sign up for what fits best into your schedule. - Curriculum changes each week on Sundays. - Cost: $65 per session - Each session is 1.5 hours - Max of 8 players instead of 6. Players get a lot of reps and that also allows two teams of 4 (or less) for the HitTrax Competition. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - IMPORTANT DETAILS: - AGE GROUPS: Our training is based on a player's ACTUAL age and not their playing level. For example... A player that is 11 years old and plays 12u should register for age 9-11 programs - not age 12-14. Thank you. - PERSONAL EQUIPMENT: Players must provide their own personal equipment for all programs. - WHAT TO WEAR? Be comfortable! Athletic clothes & sneakers or turf shoes (no cleats please). - PARENTS - we have a mezzanine that sits above our training space. Grab a drink from the restaurant and feel free to stay and watch! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - CANCELLATION POLICY: GOLD GLOVE sessions are small and personalized… Which also means there are limited slots available. If a session is sold out then a last minute cancellation results in a loss for the instructor and more importantly, for the player who wanted the slot but was unable to register for it. Every single session is sold individually so you will have the ability to only register for what you know works into your schedule. However, we do understand that sick, life and changes happen, so… Please read the following policy as we do have a couple options for you… - There are NO cancellations or credits within 2 days of your session. - Cancelling in advance of that 2-day window? We will either switch you into a different session (if available) or give you a cage rental credit, comparable to the cost of your session. - AWESOME option… No matter when it is, find a friend to take your slot! As long as that player is the correct age and has a profile/waiver on file with us then we are great with that. Please let us know to expect that change. Note: IF your cancellation does fall within 2 days of your session, but is health-related, then we will still honor the cage credit option. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - MEET OUR TEAM: Development and customized training is what we specialize in. We have a small but AMAZING team of coaches/experts. Here is a very brief intro to our main instructors... JIM BROWER - Pitching, Hitting & Catching. Coach Brower teaches and oversees all curriculum and programs taught at Brower Baseball. He brings extensive experience from all aspects of Major League Baseball in playing, coaching, analytics, program design and working with championship teams. It all started when he was six years old, right here in Minnetonka, MN. :) DAMEK TOMSCHA - Hitting & Fielding Coach Damek was team captain at Auburn and is a veteran of 9 professional seasons, including time with our very own MN Twins organization. During his time with the Phillies he played 4 different positions (3B, 1B, LF, RF)... he is a man of many talents. ERIC FISCHER - Pitching Coach Eric was drafted by the Chicago White Sox and selected in the rule-5 draft by the MN Twins, also a veteran of 9 professional seasons. He brings a passion for coaching, pitching and the importance of the mental side needed in this awesome game. And he is a lefty... so there is that. :) COLE DEVRIES - Pitching & Hitting For those of you who haven't worked with Cole yet, he is a former Gopher & Major League pitcher with the Twins... is Brower-certified ;)... and is awesome!
