ACE+ Winter 2024-25 Intensive Pitching Development Program DETAIL SNAPSHOT: - Lead instructor: Jim Brower. Assistance from Eric Fischer and Cole DeVries throughout the program. - Limited slots available. - Approval needed. - 12 weeks - 3x per week - Age 15+ High School - Older players will be prioritized. - Group of 6 players max FULL DETAILS: ACE+ offers a 12-week customized arm development program for serious pitchers, designed to focus on pitch design, pitch refinement, arm strength, and maximizing power. ACE+ builds on the framework of our flagship ACE program, but provides longer training sessions and an additional day of instruction. This extra time allows our coaches to concentrate on intricate mechanical adjustments, individual drill work and tailored throwing, weight training, and recovery programs for each player. Players will meet 3 times per week. Two days involve more aggressive pitching/throwing training and then a baseball-specific workout that compliments that day's throwing program. The third day is strategically layered in as an active recovery day - an important step in this training process. ACE+ requires commitment and consistency and is intended for players with a dedicated, development mindset. It’s available for ages 15 and up (high school), prioritizing older players who are ready to embrace a more individualized routine. DATE RANGE: The following date ranges are for ALL 2024-25 Winter Training Programs. Programs are 12-weeks and will run from early December through mid-March. Once you register, you will find the day(s) of the week your program falls on for your date range and exclusions (Winter break & Super Bowl Sunday) - SUNDAYS: Dec. 8th - March 9th. (OFF 12/29, 2/9) - MONDAYS: Dec. 9th - March 10th (OFF 12/23, 12/30) - TUESDAYS: Dec. 10th - March 11th. (OFF 12/24, 12/31) - WEDNESDAYS: Dec. 11th - March 12th (OFF 12/25, 1/1) - THURSDAYS: Dec. 12th - March 6th (OFF 12/26) - FRIDAYS: Dec. 13th - March 7th. (OFF 12/27) - SATURDAYS: Dec. 14th - March 8th. (OFF 12/28) IMPORTANT DETAILS... 1. LOCATIONS: - Champions Hall (denoted as CHAMP) - 7000 Washington Ave South, Eden Prairie, MN 55341... Sits on the border of Eden Prairie and Edina, right in the middle of where Hwy 494-169-62 intersect. - JET-55 (denoted as JET55) - 12755 Hwy 55, Plymouth, MN 55441... Sits on the border of Plymouth & Minnetonka/Wayzata, right in the middle of where Hwy 494-6-55 intersect. 2. TRAINING AGE: Our training is based on a player's "actual age" and NOT their "playing age or level." For example... A player that is 11 years old and plays 12u should register for age 9-11 programs and NOT age 12-14 programs. 3. AGE LIMIT: Players can register for a session prior to turning the required age, but they must turn that age at some point during the program. 4. AGE BRACKETS: Please pay attention to the way we combine ages when registering. Age brackets can vary from one program to another, depending on what the curriculum entails. 5. PAYMENTS: All programs are automatically put on a payment plan. Initial payment will be due at the time of registration and remaining payments will run automatically every 30 days until satisfied. 6. LESSONS IN THE WINTER: Please don't plan to depend on lessons for your source of training with us during the Winter. Our main instructors run all of our development programs so finding hours to also offer 1:1 time is very rare. 7. PERSONAL EQUIPMENT: Players must provide their own personal equipment for all programs. 8. CANCELLATION POLICY: This is an approval-based program with select slots available. Once committed, there are no cancellations. MEET OUR TEAM... Development and Individualized training is what we specialize in. We have a small, but AMAZING, team of coaches/experts. Here is a very brief intro to our main instructors... We do bring in guest instructors as Jim sees fit. JIM BROWER - Pitching, Hitting & Catching. Jim teaches and oversees all curriculum and programs taught at Brower Baseball. He brings extensive experience from all aspects of Major League Baseball in playing, coaching, analytics, program design and working with championship teams. To think... It all started when he was six years old, right here in Minnetonka, MN... DAMEK TOMSCHA - Hitting & Fielding Damek was team captain at Auburn and is a veteran of 9 professional seasons, including time with our very own MN Twins organization. During his time with the Phillies he played 4 different positions (3B, 1B, LF, RF)... he is a man of many talents. ERIC FISCHER - Pitching Coach Eric was drafted by the Chicago White Sox and selected in the rule-5 draft by the MN Twins, also a veteran of 9 professional seasons. He brings a passion for coaching, pitching and the importance of the mental side needed in this awesome game. And he is a lefty... so there is that. :) COLE DEVRIES - Pitching & Hitting For those of you who haven't worked with Cole yet, he is a former Gopher & Major League pitcher with the Twins... is Brower-certified ;)... and is awesome.
