Want a SNEAK PEEK at the type of training athletes will experience this spring? Scroll to the bottom for a brief look at some of the pitching and hitting concepts our team has planned. Each session is listed individually and organized as follows: FACILITY : DAY - TIME - SKILL - AGE *JET vs CHAMP indicates which facility the session is held at. ------------------------------------- CATCHING Because catching is so specialized, we always try to tailor our catching schedule in hopes to create the right number of slots at times that fit. To do that, we first collect interest. Please sign up for the CATCHING Interest/Communication List under "Training Programs" and we’ll reach out directly with training options. ------------------------------------------------------------------ PRICING / PASSES There are two payment options: 1. Single Session - $55 per session 2. Spring Training Pass - as low as $35 per session Age 9-14 PASS OPTIONS Spring is where athletes separate - not by doing more, but by doing it consistently. JET-55 (JET) Located on the border of Minnetonka / Plymouth, just north of Ridgedale Mall. If using Google Maps, type “Brower Baseball Plymouth.” If using Apple Maps, we recommend entering “Luce Line Brewing.” We are directly across the street from them on the back side of the Jet-55 building. ------------------------------------------------------------------ A SNEAK PEEK at what we have planned.... PITCHING Development: * Smart Velocity: Move efficiently down the mound and build velocity through better sequencing, while still protecting arm health. * Develop arm actions that allow pitchers to generate more speed while maintaining command. This is what separates pitchers who simply throw, from those who can truly pitch. * Learn our Arm Care Blueprint - learn how to properly warm up, recover, and maintain your arm throughout the season to stay healthy while continuing to throw at your best. *Learn how to build the competitive side of pitching... routines, focus, and confidence that allow you to handle pressure and be a true competitor on the mound. * Pitch design is a favorite of ours... Grips, wrist positions, and release points to influence spin and movement on various pitches. *And of course, we spend time on the pitch that never goes out of style... The change-up. HITTING Development: On the offensive side, athletes learn how to approach the game with awareness and purpose at the plate. To name a few... * Situational concepts like productive outs, hit-and-run execution, and moving runners help hitters understand how to impact the game. *Hitters also develop the mindset needed to compete in difficult counts. Athletes work on adjustments that allow them to stay alive with two strikes and battle through tough at-bats. *Swing development is built around controlling the barrel through the hitting zone, helping players consistently square up the baseball and produce quality contact. *Timing is a major focus. Develop consistent load and rhythm patterns to prepare for different pitch speeds and stay on time in game situations.
