Cheryl's highly recommended one-hour, full-game assessment that all new students should take to start their journey of improvement. Cheryl will provide a customized coaching plan based at the end of the session. If you choose to continue working with her, the New Student Assessment fee will be waived. 

Cheryl Anderson

Director of Instruction, Heathrow Legacy Club

Cheryl Anderson brings a unique combination of teaching and playing skills to her position as the Director of Instruction at Heathrow Legacy Club in Lake Mary, FL. She is currently the highest rated woman coach among Golf Digest’s 50 Best Teachers in America and GOLF Magazine has recognized her as one of America’s Top 100 Teachers since 2013.

In 2023, she was recognized for the second time as the LPGA Professionals National Teacher of the Year (She also won in 2006). More recently, Anderson was named the 2025 North Florida PGA Section Teacher of the Year. This was the third time she won this award.

Cheryl has taught several top 100 juniors in the country including a number one ranked junior girl whom she had taught for nearly a decade. She also coached the Lake Mary Prep Girls Golf team to two state championship victories in Florida.
