Coach Jax Teams: Cottonwoods and Cattails Coach Jack Teams: Elk and Buttes *Weather Notice* - We have scheduled the spring league for 10 weeks while only needing to complete 8 for the season. We have 2 weeks available to reschedule any practices and/or matches due to weather/ course closure from snow. Spring season is a more fluid schedule due to the weather and we will do our best to accommodate reschedules and communicate those changes as soon as we know. 1) Each junior will play in 4 matches in a scramble format bi-weekly on Saturday afternoons (4-7pm). We'll send out tee times 2 days prior to each match but the time frame will be the same each week (roughly 4-7pm). Sometimes, juniors will play as a 2-some and other times as a 3-some which is based on participation. When it's a 3-some, they skip every 3rd hole of the match and assist/cheer on their teammates similar to other team sports. 2) Each junior will attend 1 practice per week over 8 weeks at the same time slot selected with the same team and coach. Homework and guided self practice will be assigned after each practice. 3) The 4 matches are on Saturday Afternoons: March 29th, April 12th, April 26th, May 10th *Dates are subject to change due to weather* 4) Range balls are included at every practice and before each match. We'll have teaching baskets full of range balls set up 30 minutes before the first tee time and spots on the range reserved 5) The JJGA League will have enough players in our first 2 seasons of 2025 to fill a 13u (10-13) All Star team for events in July. Players can not be older than 13 with the cut off birthdate being July 31st. We are also expected to fill a towards 17u team as well but this will be dependent upon the number of 14-17 year old players register for the Spring/ Summer seasons. Players will qualify for the Allstar team via participation and match points won during the season. A detailed explanation of All Star season and dates will be given at first practice each season during the parent/ player and coaches meetings. **IMPORTANT - THIS IS A 2 PART REGISTRATION** -Once you select and register which location and team / time, you will receive a confirmation email from our system with an access code. Copy and paste this access code into the PGA Jr League website that is also in the confirmation email. -PGA Jr League requires an annual membership of $110 which covers the cost of the players uniforms (Jerseys, Hats, etc.), scoring system, and other admin related expenses. *This is only charged annually so if players play in 2 or all 3 of the 2025 seasons, players will not have to pay for membership after their first 2025 season*
