PLEASE READ (I know its a lot but it should answer a lot of questions) *A credit card surcharge applies to credit card purchases only. No surcharge applies to debit cards or other payment methods. The surcharge will be itemized at checkout. We strive to keep our pricing fair for all customers. This surcharge helps us avoid increasing base prices while covering credit card processing costs. * **Registration Deadline: March 2nd is the last day to register in order to have your player/s jerseys and kits ordered in time for the first match on March 28th. Registrations after this date are allowed but they will not have their jerseys and kits until the second match scheduled April 11th. Absolute last day to register is Monday March 16th.** ***Weather Notice - We have scheduled the spring league for 10 weeks while only needing to complete 8 for the season. We have 2 weeks available to reschedule any practices and/or matches due to weather/ course closure from snow. Spring season is a more fluid schedule due to the weather and we will do our best to accommodate reschedules and communicate those changes as soon as we know. ****If class if full, please email jack.cavanagh@pga.com to get on the waitlist, we will allow up to 2 waitlist students per practice time. Students/players must have previously participated in golf instruction with JJGA or another PGA Professional. They should have on-course playing experience and have developed their individual skills to a level where they can manage themselves on the course with little to no assistance. Players must be 10 years old as of July 31 of the current year (returning players are grandfathered in). In order to support the goals of our long-term development for our athletes, coaches may recommend placement into an Operation 36 program if it is determined to be the best fit for the student at that time. Coach Jax Teams: Cottonwoods and Cattails (@ The Olde Course) Coach Jack Teams: Elk and Buttes (@ Mariana Butte) 1) Teams will be built by evenly distributing age and skill level across all 4 teams. We will do our best to keep siblings together and players with their respective coach but our goal is to make 4 equal teams for a competitive season. 2) Each junior will play in 4 matches in a scramble format bi-weekly on Saturday afternoons. We'll send out tee times 2 days prior to each match but the time frame will be the same each week (roughly 4-7pm). Sometimes, juniors will play as a 2-some, a single, and other times as a 3-some which is based on participation. When it's a 3-some, they skip every 3rd hole of the match and assist/cheer on their teammates similar to other team sports. When they are single, they will play their own 2 ball scramble. 3) Each junior will attend 1 practice per week over 8 weeks at the same time slot selected with the same players and coach. Homework and guided self practice will be assigned after each practice. 4) Range balls are included at every practice and before each match. We'll have teaching baskets full of range balls set up 30 minutes before the first tee time and spots on the range reserved. 5) The 4 matches are on Saturday Afternoons: March 28th, April 11th, April 25th, May 9th *Dates are subject to change due to weather* 6) The JJGA League will have enough players in the first 2 seasons of 2026 to fill a 13u (10-13) and 17u (14-17) All Star team for events in July. Players can not be older than 13 or 17 with the cut off birthdate being July 31st. The number of teams will be dependent upon the number of players registered for the Spring/ Summer seasons. Players will qualify for the Allstar team via participation and match points won during the season. A detailed explanation of All Star season and dates will be given at first practice each season during the parent/ player and coaches meetings. IMPORTANT – THIS IS A TWO-STEP REGISTRATION PROCESS Step 1: Select your location and team/time and complete registration. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email from our system that includes an access code. Step 2: Copy and paste that access code into the PGA Jr. League website using the link provided in the confirmation email to complete your player’s registration. PGA Jr. League Annual Membership: PGA Jr. League requires a $120 annual membership, which covers player uniforms (jerseys, hats, etc.), the official scoring system, and other administrative expenses. This fee is only charged once per year—players who participate in two or all three 2026 seasons will not need to pay the membership fee again after their first 2026 season.
