Kathy has been a PGA/LPGA Professional over 25 years.   Kathy was Player Development / Teaching Professional at Medina Golf & CC and Minneapolis Golf Club followed by Director of Player Development for the Minnesota Section PGA.  Now as the  Director of Instruction for Elk River Golf Club, Kathy believes that each golfer will improve their understanding of the game of golf including, full swing, short game, putting, rules and on course instruction.  For beginner golfers, a 5 lesson series is highly recommended.  This series covers 2 lessons on the full swing, 1 lesson on putting, 1 lesson on short game and the final lesson we get out on the course and play a few holes, covering basic rules and etiquette.  Kathy has worked with all level of golfers from beginners all the way to professionals.  Helping students with their golf goals is a passion for her and has been for many years. Kathy's family has been involved in golf including her husband who was a PGA Professional for 25 years. Their son Matthew is a professional golfer and a caddy at Whisper Rock Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.   Their daughter Lauryn is an Assistant Marketing Manager for Cargill.
