Ed is Director of Instruction at Timber Point and has been helping players of all ages and ability levels to improve their games for more than 35 years.  One of Ed’s greatest assets as an instructor is his ability to personally connect with students and communicate points clearly and effectively.  He’s patient and versatile, emphasizes simple over complicated, with a focus on solid fundamentals.  Ed has had the good fortune to be personally instructed by some of the best teachers in golf and has incorporated these different influences into his own teaching style.

Ed is a fine player and has been a part of the Met section competitive golf scene since childhood. He has competed in junior, amateur, collegiate and professional tournaments at the local, regional and national level.  He is a US Kids Golf Level 2 Certified Coach, a PGA Junior League Coach, and is also a Certified Coach with the Positive Coaching Alliance.

A native of Long Island for his entire life, Ed resides here in Great River with his wife and three children.
