About Me

Summer grew up in a small town in South Georgia and started playing golf at 12 years old. That was the age one of her friends first put a golf club in her hand; it was the most difficult thing she had ever attempted. The challenge, and possibly stubbornness, drove Summer on a path that would shape the rest of her life.

Golf Experience

Summer played collegiate golf at the University of Georgia and played professionally for a few years before finding her true passion, teaching. She is now a Class A LPGA Golf Professional with two decades of teaching experience.

Teaching Style

Summer teaches using a student-centered approach and prides herself on adapting to the needs of her student. Armed with elite playing experience and almost a dozen teaching certifications focusing on training new players and juniors, Summer is a resource for all your playing needs in the Atlanta area.

Off the Teeline

When Summer is not teaching, she enjoys playing the ukulele and the guitar…both poorly. Summer also enjoys gardening, snorkeling, and woodworking.
