About Me

Loren Jeglum is not your typical golf instructor. Loren never played for his high school team or college team, but like most of you has played recreationally for decades. As I got better, I learned to translate what I was working on into coaching others how to enjoy the game. I’ve traveled all over the United States experiencing different methods and concluded that everyone in their own way is right, but it’s how you communicate that sets you apart.

Golf Experience

Since age 10, Loren has had a club in his hands. Loren enjoyed going up and playing recreationally at his home course in Omak, Washington, but it was in 2007 that Loren got hooked on the game. Loren started out at the beginning of the year with a 25 handicap and lowered it to a 7 by September. Since then, Loren has competed in numerous professional tournaments throughout the United States. Recently, Loren won the 2023 and 2024 Snake River Chapter Championship.

Teaching Style

Loren’s teaching style is a blend of the old school and new school. Using technology with the knowledge of ball flight helps the students understand their swing so they can get the most out of their game. Loren focuses on the club and what you need to accomplish with the club and not the body since the club is what contacts the ball. It’s easy, fun, and simple.

Why Loren Loves Coaching

Loren enjoys helping others overcome issues and enriching their lives through golf. Helping others achieve happiness and satisfaction gives Loren meaning in his life.

Off the Teeline

When Loren isn’t coaching, he spends time with his family, playing soccer, going on hikes, finding the best food, and traveling to new places. Cross Alaskan cruise off the list this year.
