About Me  

Grant is from Charlotte, North Carolina. His journey in golf began at the age of ten at a driving range just south of Charlotte and has been dedicated to the game ever since. Studying the golf swing mechanics at a young age was one of his greatest passions in his free time and led to him becoming a golf instructor. 

Golf Experience  

His teaching experience ranges from teaching junior golfers, collegiate athletes, and professional players. He has worked with great coaches in the Pinehurst region who helped him understand the mechanics of the swing as well as the mental side of the game. By studying many different methods of the golf swing he is able find the path of least resistance for your tendencies and physical limitations. He is a PGA Associate and U.S. Kids Level 2 certified instructor. His experience with teaching on launch monitors includes Trackman, Foresight, as well as swing catalyst to monitor pressure shifts. 

Teaching Style  

Grant believes golf instruction is always a moving target, meaning he will rarely teach two people the same way due to students having different thought processes and different physical limitations. For beginners he will master the set up and build a base for a great golf swing then develop a consistent motion to hit great shots when the pressure is on. For advanced players, he will focus on making small adjustments that lead to significant improvements, utilizing slow-motion video analysis and golf simulator data. For players looking to truly lower their scores he recommends diving into course management to make sure golfers are not only hitting great shots but giving themselves the best chances to make a good score and eliminate large numbers on the scorecard.

Grant’s mission is to help new and advanced golfers find the path of least resistance to unlock their best swing and make the game more enjoyable. Whether it is fine tuning the swing or starting from scratch he enjoys every golf lesson.
