Logan Murphy, PGA Class A Specialized Golf Professional has been teaching golfers of all ages and skill levels since 2014. Logan began as an Assistant Golf Professional at Effingham Country Club. In the past 6 years has been the Head Professional at both Charleston Country Club and most recently St. Clair Country Club. Logan played four years of collegiate golf at Rend Lake College and Columbia College.

Logan’s passion is for teaching and coaching which pivoted his career from a club professional to a full time golf coach.  Logan is a firm believer in the utilization of technology during lessons and coaches each player to their body’s biomechanics. 

Logan’s teaching philosophy is an accumulation of his past experiences but believes teaching to the individual’s needs is most important. He first puts every player he coaches through a player assessment of their game and capabilities to decide what coaching program best fits his/her needs based upon their goals. He has a strong belief in building great relationships with his students to create long-lasting results!
