Mark Wehrman is a Class A member of the PGA of America with 24 years of experience in the golf industry. Mark grew up in Williston, ND and experienced success playing golf in high school and regional junior golf tournaments. He went on to play college golf in Arizona while obtaining his business degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management from the Golf Academy of America.

Mark has worked in all different faucets of the golf industry such as resort, private, and public facilities. Before joining Topgolf, he was the Head Golf Professional at Big Sky Resort in Montana for 10 years. Mark has earned multiple PGA of America awards including the RMSPGA Professional Development award 3 times and the RMSPGA Resort Merchandiser of the Year award. He also served on his local PGA chapter board for the past 4 years and spent 7 years as the RMSPGA Education Chairman.

Throughout his career Mark has placed a strong emphasis on teaching and coaching. Mark teaches over 300 lessons a year in different settings including private, multi-person group, skill building clinics, and playing instruction. He teaches different types of students including beginners, ladies, juniors, intermediate, and advanced tournament competitors. Mark’s teaching philosophy revolves around making the learning process simple and not overloading his students with too much information. He strongly emphasizes proper setup fundamentals and focuses on ball flight tendencies to fix the cause of the problem. Mark’s goal in teaching is to create long-term enjoyment of the game through short-term results and success.
