About Me

From right up the road in Conroe, Texas, Steve got into golf at an incredibly early age. Every weekend starting at the age of four Steve would go with his dad to play golf.  He would ride his dad’s pull cart like a horse on the front nine, then his dad would take him to the pro shop where the pros would babysit him while his dad played the back nine.

Golf Experience

Having played golf all his life, teaching for the last 30 years, Steve has an abundance of knowledge about the golf swing and the golf game.  While a pro at a local club, Steve had a junior golf program with 220 kids each summer, some of those kids are on professional tours, and many of them are club pros around the country.

Teaching Style

Fun is the teaching style of Steve.  He believes if you are not having fun, you are not going to learn.   Steve likes to build a lesson plan that suits your needs, golfing style, and golfing habits.

Watching someone's eyes light up when they pure that first shot, nothing like it in the world.

Off the Teeline

When Steve is not at the venue you can find him in one of two places, on the golf course, or on his boat on the lake.
