Kyle Willmann
Director of Instruction at Topgolf Oklahoma City
About Me
Kyle is from Edmond, Oklahoma. His Father Kirk taught him
how to play at a young age. Kyle’s passion for the game developed from playing
golf with Kirk and Kirk’s golfing buddies.
Golf Experience
Kyle was inducted into the Edmond Junior Golf Hall of fame.
He won the 1998 Individual State Championship as an Edmond North Husky. After
high school, he played collegiate golf at Texas Tech University in the Big
Twelve Conference. While at Texas Tech, Kyle had multiple wins and was a Big
Twelve All Conference Selection and NCAA All Regional Team Selection. Kyle went
on to play Professional Golf with multiple mini tour wins. In 2005, He won the
Oklahoma Open Championship and competed in the U.S. Open at Pinehurst. Kyle has
been Teaching golfers of all skill levels for several years now.
Teaching Style
Kyle’s teaching comes from a player's perspective. He
understands the importance of not overthinking, relaxing, and having fun. His
lessons include before and after Video Analysis, Golf Club Data and Top
Tracer Ball Data. He understands what it takes to play your best golf and loves
to share his knowledge of the game.
Why Kyle Loves Coaching
Golf is a mirror image of life. We go through ups and downs
and experience all types of emotions. Achieving goals and learning more about
ourselves is what it’s all about. Stay patient, work hard and discover the joy
this great game has to offer throughout our entire lives.
Off the Teeline
When I am not at the venue, I am enjoying my Two Daughters
and my Bassett Hound. I am always working on my golf game. It is my passion in
life.
