Landyn is a native Tucsonan and has been in the golf business since 2010. Upon graduating high school he started working as a Player Service Assistant at the Omni Tucson National. While working there, he improved his golf game and earned a scholarship to play for Pima Community College. After his two years at Pima, Landyn continued climbing the ladder at Tucson National, moving up to Assistant Professional and Merchandiser as he started the PGA PGM program.
Landyn was elected to PGA membership in March 2017, and served as the junior golf leader in Southern AZ as the Program Director for the First Tee of Tucson from 2017-2020. He also serves on the Southern Chapter Board of Directors on numerous committees, and was the host Professional of the Southern Chapter PGA HOPE program. Landyn is the recipient of the Southern Chapter PGA 2016 Assistant Golf Professional of the Year, 2017 Junior Golf Leader, 2018 Player Development Award, and the 2019 Junior Golf Leader, while also being the recipient of the Southwest Section PGA 2018 Youth Player Development Award. He was also recently chosen as 1 of 15 participants of the PGA LEAD program, which is the Association's leadership development program that was created to identify, mentor and progress PGA Members from diverse backgrounds into volunteer leadership positions in the Association.
Landyn is a total 'feel' player and focuses on meeting the student where they're at, adjusting to their learning style to help them develop a 'feel' for their own game.
Landyn is extremely excited to be a part of the Topgolf team, continuing to grow the game of golf and create moments that matter for everyone!
