About Me

Tyler grew up locally in Utah County and currently lives in Lehi.  Early on in life, Tyler loved sports and although he learned golf at a young age, he was competitively involved with baseball and soccer.  Tyler attended American Fork High School where he lettered in both soccer and golf.  His love of playing sports transitioned to a passion for coaching where he has been coaching youth sports for many years, which in turn fueled his pursuit of a career in golf.

Golf Experience

Tyler is a PGA Certified Instructor and active competitor with over 18 years of teaching and golf industry experience. Tyler played high school golf at American Fork High School and competed as an amateur against many of Utah’s top collegiate and professional players, including Utah's PGA Tour players Tony Finau, Daniel Summerhays, and Zac Blair. He continues to actively compete in Utah Section PGA events and regional professional tournaments, including the Utah Open.

With thousands of hours teaching, playing and researching the golf swing and new technologies using video analysis and launch monitor technology, Tyler helps golfers make meaningful improvements that transfer from the simulator to the golf course. Select lesson packages also include outdoor instruction for on-course performance development.

Tyler also offers professional club fitting services and has extensive experience working with leading manufacturers, specifically Callaway Golf.

Teaching Style

His coaching focuses on helping golfers simplify the swing, improve consistency, and build confidence through a better understanding of ball flight and swing mechanics. As a student of Ben Hogan’s approach to the game, Tyler emphasizes sound fundamentals, repeatable swing mechanics, and building a golf swing players can trust. His coaching blends modern technology with individualized instruction to help golfers improve in a way that is both effective and enjoyable.
