Mike has been an instructor for 30 years and a golf nut for more than 40. He became super-interested in golf after getting his first job at a public golf course in his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. With the ability to play and practice for free he was hooked on golf and became obsessed with improving his game. Wilson hit hundreds of thousands of balls on the driving range to improve his swing and ball striking. The practice certainly helped his game, but also helped him relate to other players who were on a similar journey of improvement.
Mike has worked with golfers of all levels; beginners, juniors, advanced players, and professionals. His career highlights include working for David Leadbetter and coaching the winners of 12 PGA Tour events, including the 2001 Tour Championship and 2003 Masters both won by Mike Weir.
Today he lives with his wife in Gilbert, Arizona. His son is a freshman at ASU and his 2
daughters both live in Phoenix.
