About Me
Matthew Bergman prides himself on the love of the game. His
goal is to make you want to play more golf. He started playing around age 10 in
his home state of Connecticut. and really doubling down at age 13 when he
started playing competitively.
Golf Experience
With over 18 years of golfing experience and over 4,000 hours of lessons taught, Matthew is highly
knowledgeable about the game. He has played in many tournaments in junior golf
and still plays in PGA section events today. He gained his Class A PGA membership
in 2019 after finishing the PGA golf Management program at Coastal Carolina.
Teaching Style
Matthew prides himself on providing a fun and engaging
atmosphere during his lessons. He focuses on all skill levels having experience
with colligate players to absolute beginners. The goal of leaving the lesson is
to have the tools and knowledge to keep improving each session. Matthew has a
saying to teach the player not the game and to not have a one fix all ideology.

Matthew loves teaching golf because it is a game you can
enjoy for an extraordinarily long time, and there is nothing better than
building a relationship with someone around the game of golf and watching them
grow and succeed.
Off the Teeline
When Matthew is not in venue he loves traveling and playing
golf in his own time. Matthe also prides himself as foodie trying all the new places in town.
