Golf Fore Women 101 is designed to teach you in five 75 minute long lessons everything you'll need to know to step onto a golf course and play with confidence. Lessons will include on-course activities taught by trained PGA/LPGA golf professionals who will make sure you have fun each step of the way.

GFW 201 is for students who have completed GFW 101 or have some past golf experience. Valued over $450.

GFW 301 is designed to teach all golfers how to accomplish the main goal of golf...putting the ball in the hole.. This is the perfect way for GFW 201 students to make the transition from the practice facility to the golf course utilizing Operation 36 principles. Valued over $700.

GFW 401 is an advanced playing class focusing more on developing playing skills and course management. This is the ideal way for GFW 301 students to begin to thrive in course strategy, club selection, playing formats, etiquette, equipment evaluation, goal setting and more. Valued over $900.

Beginner junior clinic style instruction directed by Alex Cavaliere, PGA 2024 CTPGA Youth Player Development Award Recipient and 2023 & 2024 Operation 36 Top 50 Coach. Junior Golf 101 covers the topics included in the Orange rank of the Operation 36 Curriculum. The Orange rank includes beginner instruction on fundamental skills of putting, chipping, and full swing. Golf clubs and balls will be supplied to those who need them.

Junior Golf 201 will cover the topics included in the orange, green, and blue ranks of the Operation 36 curriculum. These topics will advance upon the fundamentals learned in Junior Golf 101 and introduce on-course play

Ladies will have the ability to play on Monday mornings and Monday afternoons.

Lyman Orchards plays host to the largest ladies league group in the State of Connecticut with 330 participants in 2024. Ladies will have the ability to play on Tuesday mornings, Tuesday evenings, Wednesday mornings, Wednesday evenings, Thursday mornings and Thursday evenings in our social and competitive divisions.

Elementary junior clinic style instruction by Lyman Orchards Golf Staff

This program is designed for the new male golfer. It is ideal for someone who has never held a golf club and/or brand new to the game.

This program is designed for the beinning male golfer; ideal for the golfer who knows a little bit about golf but has never had a lesson or may have played before but needs a refresher on the basic fundamentals.

Night Golf Tournament The Apple 9 Course

On course lessons with PGA Teaching Professionals of Lyman Orchards on The Apple 9, Player Course and Jones Course are a great way to learn the game. Not only will you learn on course techniques but you get to play with a talented PGA member of our Lyman team.

Supervised practice sessions with the specific topic of greenside bunker play. Classes are $30 per person, per class. Open to the public. Maximum class size is 8. Minimum class size needed to conduct a class is 3 students. Class will meet on the Lyman Orchards Golf Center (The Apple 9) patio area adjacent to the clubhouse.

Supervised one hour long practice sessions with the specific topic of chipping. Additional classes are $30 per person, per class. Open to the public. Maximum class size is 10. Minimum class size needed to conduct a class is 3 students. Class will meet on the Lyman Orchards Golf Center (The Apple 9) patio area adjacent to the clubhouse.
