Couples Golf Clinics
Couples Clinics are designed to provide a light learning atmosphere for men and women on Friday afternoon/evenings throughout the Couples Golf League Season. Come to the class that is convenient for you in relation to your tee time. You don't have to be part of the League to participate!
Couples League
Format for the league will be a two-player scramble. 11 events on Apple 9 and 5 events on Jones/Player.
Tee times beginning at 3:00pm.
Golf Fore Fun Scramble
Ladies Specific Event - Our wildly popular Golf Fore Fun Scramble series is a great way to experience everything Lyman Orchards Golf Club has to offer on our Jones & Player courses.
Golf Fore Women - 101
Golf Fore Women 101 is designed to teach you in five 75 minute long lessons everything you'll need to know to step onto a golf course and play with confidence. Lessons will include on-course activities taught by trained PGA/LPGA golf professionals who will make sure you have fun each step of the way.
Golf Fore Women - 201
GFW 201 is for students who have completed GFW 101 or have some past golf experience. Valued over $450.
Golf Fore Women - 301
GFW 301 is designed to help all golfers become comfortable playing a round of golf. This is the perfect way for GFW 201 students to make the transition from the practice facility to the golf course. Valued over $700.
Golf Fore Women - 401
GFW 401 is an advanced playing class focusing more on developing playing skills and course management. This is the ideal way for GFW 301 students to begin to thrive in course strategy, club selection, playing formats, etiquette, equipment evaluation, goal setting and more. Valued over $900.
Junior Golf - 101
Beginner junior clinic style instruction directed by Alex Cavaliere, PGA 2024 CTPGA Youth Player Development Award Recipient and 2023 & 2024 Operation 36 Top 50 Coach.
Junior Golf 101 covers the topics included in the Orange rank of the Operation 36 Curriculum. The Orange rank includes beginner instruction on fundamental skills of putting, chipping, and full swing. Golf clubs and balls will be supplied to those who need them.
Junior Golf - 201
Junior golf clinic style instruction directed by Alex Cavaliere, PGA, 2024 CTPGA Youth Player Development Award Recipient and 2023 & 2024 Operation 36 Top 50 Coach.
Junior Golf 201 will cover the topics included in the orange, green, and blue ranks of the Operation 36 curriculum. These topics will advance upon the fundamentals learned in Junior Golf 101 and introduce on-course play
Junior Golf Camp - ALL DAY SESSION
5 day PROGRAM from 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday for ages 7-15. PGA/LPGA instruction as well as a fun environment for your junior golfers allow them to learn and develop their golf and athletic abilities.
Junior Golf Camp - AM SESSION
5 day PROGRAM from 9am to 12pm Monday through Friday for ages 7-15. PGA/LPGA instruction as well as a fun environment for your junior golfers allow them to learn and develop their golf and athletic abilities.
Junior Golf Camp - PM SESSION
5 day PROGRAM from 1pm to 4pm Monday through Friday for ages 7-15. PGA/LPGA instruction as well as a fun environment for your junior golfers allow them to learn and develop their golf and athletic abilities.
Ladies Golf League - SOCIAL - Monday's
Ladies will have the ability to play on Monday mornings and Monday afternoons.
Ladies Golf League - COMPETITIVE
Lyman Orchards plays host to the largest ladies league group in the State of Connecticut with 330 participants in 2024. Ladies will have the ability to play on Tuesday mornings, Tuesday evenings, Wednesday mornings, Wednesday evenings, Thursday mornings and Thursday evenings in our social and competitive divisions.

Operation 36
Beginners deserve a better way to learn to play golf!
Join Alex Cavaliere, PGA (2023 & 2024 Operation 36 Top 50 Coach Award recipient) as Lyman Orchards introduces the Operation 36 Development Model to adult programming. Operation 36 is centered around playing golf, with the goal of helping you to shoot par (36) or better for 9 holes.

Play With a Pro
On course lessons with PGA Teaching Professionals of Lyman Orchards on The Apple 9, Player Course and Jones Course are a great way to learn the game. Not only will you learn on course techniques but you get to play with a talented PGA member of our Lyman team.
Practice with the Pro (PWP) CHIPPING
Supervised one hour long practice sessions with a specific topic. Additional classes are $25 per person, per class. Open to the public. Maximum class size is 10. Minimum class size needed to conduct a class is 3 students. Class will meet on the Lyman Orchards Golf Center (The Apple 9) patio area adjacent to the clubhouse.
Practice with the Pro (PWP) FULLSWING
Supervised one hour long practice sessions with a specific topic. Additional classes are $25 per person, per class. Open to the public. Maximum class size is 10. Minimum class size needed to conduct a class is 3 students. Class will meet on the Lyman Orchards Golf Center (The Apple 9) patio area adjacent to the clubhouse.

Supervised one hour long practice sessions with a specific topic. Additional classes are $30 per person, per class. Open to the public. Maximum class size is 8. Spring Tune-Up
Brush up before the season is in full swing! Three consecutive weeks of one hour classes. 4:1 student to instructor ratio. Session 1 covering full swing, session 2 covering short game with session 3 being on course instruction on The Apple 9.
SuperSpeed 101
SuperSpeed is a neurological training program guaranteed to increase swing speed. This clinic teaches you the basics of SuperSpeed Golf in one session. After that you will be challenged to conduct the workout on your own. Price includes your very own SuperSpeed set of clubs.
